Who we are

We started feeding foster families on Easter Sunday 2020 because we love them and want to support them in their hard, holy work. In addition, we saw it as an opportunity to support local restaurants during the Coronavirus pandemic by purchasing all the event meals directly from them.

In 2020 we…

♥️ Served 6756 meals across four counties in NW Florida.

♥️ Partnered with nine local restaurants.

♥️ Supplied more than 1000 packages of diapers, wipes, and other supplies.

♥️ Partnered with seven local churches and nine local organizations.

I am a foster parent

"It might seem like a simple meal to most but it's where we connect as a family and talk about our day. We are extremely grateful for Feed Fosters and their sponsors for providing meals for busy foster families like ours."

The WHY for First City Church.

“When we first considered getting involved in the Feed Fosters ministry, we asked ourselves three questions. The questions were, “Is this ministry an expectation of God, is this a big need in our community and, how can we say ‘yes?’” It was very easy to see that God considered this work the most pure and undefiled ministry with high accountability to him. It was also easy to see that this pocket of pain was a huge community need that the church was not addressing.

So, how could we say “yes?” We never considered telling God “no.” It was not “if we will” but “how we will.” God was amazing. We fed all the foster families in the District One area almost every month for a year with a $3,000 budget and we had money and food left over. How did that happen? When you step out in faith and tell God “yes,” “He will supply all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Join us and see for yourselves the amazing work of God!” - Pastor Rick
